





Grant grew up on a grains and oilseed farm in southeast Saskatchewan. After graduating he attended the University of Regina where he obtained a bachelor’s degree majoring in economics. Upon completion of university he embarked on a career in finance which included banking, financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance, all based in the agricultural sector.
In August of 2009 the idea for Production Cost Insurance came in a discussion with an Ag accounting professional. Research and development as well as finding appropriate reinsurance capital ensued and the product was launched for the 2011 crop year. The company has been growing and improving ever since.
Dave joined Global Ag Risk Solutions in 2015 and has years of experience as an Agrologist, Ag Retail Manager, Sales Manager for Bayer Crop Science, and Farm Management Consultant with MNP. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Saskatchewan. He is also a licensed Professional Agrologist with Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists and holds a Level 1 CAIB licence in Saskatchewan.
Jonathan joined the Global Ag Risk Solutions team in 2018 having spent over 30 years in Farm Management Consulting. During that time, he focused initially on agronomy and later specialized in farm management, production economics, farm finance, operational, business and succession planning first in the United Kingdom and, since 1999, in Canada. His fundamental approach to the analysis and understanding of farm business is central to Global Ag Risk Solution’s Production Cost Insurance. Prior to joining us Jonathan was a farm management partner with MNP for 18 years and became extensively involved in succession planning in the last ten years of that time.
Mark grew up on a mixed farm south of Findlater Saskatchewan, and is the 2nd oldest of 10 children. In 2009 after teaching high school for 17 years and working as a crop hail adjuster during summers, Mark left teaching to dedicate his career to agriculture insurance full time. Mark joined the Global Ag Risk Solutions team in 2012 and was a Regional Sales Manager until September 2020 when he moved in the National Sales Leader role. He strongly believes the value GARS has in helping Agriculture thrive. Mark has a B.Ed from the University of Regina and has CAIB designation.
Raised on the family seed farm and still active in the operation, Damon loves the business of farming. His career has been dedicated to understanding the unique challenges of agriculture and building solutions to helping producers thrive.
Damon's background has been primarly focused on the financial and economics of agriculture management and he holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Certified Financial Planning and Financial Management Advisor designations.
